Sorry to post non Lotus stuff here but this is important and maybe some of the older hands knows someone who knows someone who can help.

Someone I know knows someone who needs a usable crank for a 16V motor, namely a Studebaker 289 V8. The one he has has journal damage beyond bearing sizes freely available so besides welding and resizing a whole crank is the best option.
