Been a bit busy advising the Spanish, plugging holes in the ocean bed etc etc so precious little progress has been made on my project. But yesterday someone (thanks Mom) said she would enjoy an update occasionally so here it is for viewing in case anyone else gives a hoot.
The motor and Ford box are test fitted currently so inlet pumbing can now be made. Then it all comes out again for final fitting, finish engine mounts etc.
1) Radiator has received a bon chop to make space for a duct from the nose going over and above it.
2) The nose will have 2 ducts; bottom one to radiator, top one to top of intercooler. The IC will get boxed in on top as part of the duct and air will exit below and backward towards the crank pulley.
3) The plenum will be reconstructed with the throttle body at the front. The turbo exit will go forward under the zorst manifold to enter the IC from the left side from driver's perspective.
4) The gazoom pipe will now have to exit the bonnet, not the side cladding to make space for the boost pipe and other gubbins.
5) And then after doing about 2 million other little things, it will be done.
